Tracked Platform: a fearless, lightweight mobile robot
Tracked Platform is a crawler-mounted mobile robotics platform equipped with a carry handle. The whole robot weighs no more than 10.5 kg with its batteries, making it even easier to carry. The platform includes a high-torque motor and a Sabertooth motor controller.
The Tracked Platform robot can be controlled remotely at a range of up to 150 metres. It has an extremely small turning radius so can turn over easily, and its heavy-duty chassis makes it a land drone capable of tackling all types of terrain.
Ideal for research and teaching
Tracked Platform offers numerous control, programming and customisation possibilities. If you connect it with your programming board, you will be able to not only set precise parameters and its control mode, but also add different peripherals, including meteorological sensors, a surveillance camera or a line-following module – more than enough to organise hours of exciting lessons or further your robotics research. It’s also an ideal work base for research and development professionals looking for new applications.
